Thoughts on Thanksgiving

Hello...Thanksgiving...
We are all too unthankful for etc. My list is so long. My dearest thanks is for my wife. Oh, and I have to mention my daughter, son-in-law, and their two girls. And did I say my wife? Without any of them, it would not have been much of a Thanksgiving. But with them, a blessed Thanksgiving.

Some thanks go to the many kinds of foods and desserts, nice weather, and a reserved hall so we didn't mess up anybody's kitchen more than it already was.

I'm especially thankful that all those on my prayer list are doing fairly well.

Dean: Let's see, was Thanksgiving yesterday?
Me: No.
Dean: Day before yesterday?
Me: No, it was three days ago, Dean.
Dean: Oh, well, time flies. Hasta luego.

PUSH

Hello again.

Here we go with nothing to say, but my new acronym is P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens). God in all His mercy always let's something happen. Look at me. I prayed until my wife caught me. It wasn't easy, but we married. Praise the Lord. Now with two granddaughters and Jesus on my side, it doesn't get any better. If you were sitting here by me tonight, I'd definitely show you their pictures. God has blessed.

Until next time, pray.

Amen for my Wife (Girlfriend)

Dear People,
I am so thankful that God gave me a Christian wife, who is now my caregiver, whom does an excellent job. She knows my most every need and anticipates most of them. And I thank God for finding her for me. She is probably the only person in this world who could live with me, other than my mother.

Thank you, Jesus.

Praises

Friday is here again. And my blessed Sabbath starts at sundown. Praise the Lord for Sabbath!

I hope and pray that Jesus soon returns, and that we look forward to that as much as the Sabbath.

Good-bye,
Dean or Idaho

A Great Poem

I really like this poem. This is our ticket to heaven. Keep growing.

Oh, the bitter pain and sorrow
That a time could ever be,
When I proudly said to Jesus,
"All of self and none of me."

Yet He found me: I beheld Him
Bleeding on the accursed tree;
And my wistful heart said faintly,
"Some of self and some of thee."

Day by day His tender mercy,
Healing, helping, full and free
Brought me lower, while I whispered,
"Less of self and more of thee."

Higher than the highest heavens,
Deeper than the deepest sea,
"Lord, thy love at last has conquered;
None of self and all of thee."

Coming Soon

Good morning, you-all,
It is by the grace of God and a nagging wife that I take up her hands to type this. I don't really know what to say except Jesus is coming soon and I want to be ready.

Have a good day, that will be all,

Jesus Loves Me--even when I'm bad

Jesus loves me,
this I know,
for the Bible tells me so...

P.S. Many life experiences show me the love of God. Jesus said we must become like little children...
I'm trying to do just that.
